Honolulu Restaurants

There are hundreds if not thousands of Honolulu restaurants from which travelers can select, they range from every type of food you can think of. The area is known for having great seafood that is caught daily from the ocean. You should be sure to find a fresh seafood restaurant if you like that type of food. It’s the freshest tasting seafood that you can find nearly anywhere in the US.

The Honolulu travel guide has made a list of some of the top seafood restaurants in Honolulu, if you’re visiting the area you should eat at these excellent Honolulu restaurants.

» Bubba Gump Shrimp CO.

This chain of restaurants, which is inspired by Forrest Gump, offers some of the best tasting shrimp in Honolulu. They cook it up for you twelve different ways, so no matter how you like your shrimp you can have it done here.

This wonderful Honolulu restaurant aslo offers burgers and other meats for anyone in the family who doesn’t eat seafood. You can expect to pay anywhere from $10-$25 a meal, which is very competitive for Honolulu. The atmosphere in the restaurant is casual, so don'y need to wear your favourite suit and tie there.

» Top of Waikiki

The top of Waikiki is Honolulu’s only revolving restaurant, whether you want a view of the city or the beach you can have it at this restaurant. It’s best to go while there is still sunlight out so that you can take advantage of the view. At night it’s very dark and all you can see is the lights of the hotels. The Top of Waikiki Honolulu restaurant has very good service and for around $20 a meal you can have a great dinner.

There is more then one level to this great Honolulu restaurant, and although during peak hours you may not get the seat you want you usually can ask for any seat available. I suggest the top level by the railing, it’s a spectacular view from there.

» Alan Wong’s Restaurant

This wonderful Honolulu restaurant may be hard to find as it’s tucked in an office building on the third floor, but it’s one of the best restaurants in the city. Alan Wong is a celebrity chef who is known worldwide for his wonderful dishes. Alan tries to use local ingredients in all his dishes which gives it an added taste.

There is an extensive wine list, ranging from blush wines to rare California wines. This restaurant may not be the cheapest but it offers wonderful great tasting food.

Honolulu has many more restaurants ranging from cheap to expensive, so which ever it is your looking for you will find it. The above Honolulu restaurants are ideal for tourists looking to have a memorable dining experience in Honolulu for a reasonable price.
